Matthew Ferrer, M.A., BCBA

Matthew Ferrer is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Clinical Supervisor based in Benicia, CA who has worked for ABT since 2019. With a passion for disseminating evidence-based behavior analytic principles to clients and their families, he is committed to providing a collaborative, compassionate, and supportive environment for families and care staff. His goal is to specialize in Organizational Behavior Management, including family members and other relevant stakeholders as part of treatment that produces successful outcomes and generalization of taught skills, while individualizing treatment according to learner preferences, family values, and socially significant needs.

Matthew's skill set and expertise include supervision, a multi-disciplinary approach, parent training, skills-based assessments, Functional Behavioral Assessments, early intervention, self-regulation, social skills, independent living skills, executive functioning training, and emotional disturbances. He received his Master of Arts from Arizona State University and has provided ABA services since January 2019 in homes, afterschool care, clinics, and community settings for individuals diagnosed with autism ranging between the ages of 18 months to 22 years old.

Matthew's dedication to improving the lives of those he serves is evident in his commitment to individualizing treatment and involving all relevant stakeholders. He is excited to continue making a positive impact on the families he works with through evidence-based and personalized treatment.
